I'm Ash Devan, a Victoria-based Graduate Software Engineer focused on full-stack web, backend systems, mobile apps and AI automation.
Victoria, Australia
Melbourne-based IT graduate focused on full-stack development, backend engineering, automation and practical software delivery. I build maintainable applications across web, mobile and AI-assisted workflows using ASP.NET, React, Python, Swift and Firebase.
Full-stack Web
Secure banking application with API-based data retrieval, transaction handling and private online database integration.
Demonstrates backend design, data validation, database modelling and user-focused financial workflows.
Result: Handles account, transaction and statement flows end-to-end with server-side validation on every request.
iOS Mobile App
iOS application for tracking motorcycle maintenance records, service history and bike-related reminders.
Shows mobile app development, authentication, cloud data storage and practical product thinking.
Result: Ships as a working iOS app with authenticated, per-user Firestore data and persistent service reminders.
AI Automation
Local AI-powered video generation pipeline that automates research, script creation, image generation, voiceover and video assembly.
Highlights automation, media processing, AI API integration and workflow engineering.
Result: Turns a single topic prompt into a fully assembled narrated video with no manual editing step.
Computer Vision
Vehicle damage detection and cost-estimation research project using object detection and automated online repair-cost lookup.
Demonstrates machine learning, applied computer vision and research-to-product implementation.
Result: Detects visible vehicle damage from a photo and returns an automated, source-linked repair-cost estimate.
Realtime Dashboard
Group capstone project (Master of Information Technology, RMIT University) built for an international client: a real-time wildfire dashboard with map visualisation, scatter plots, bar charts and live data updates. My contribution was the React frontend — Chart.js visualisations consuming a live REST API — plus the Python scripts that processed and prepared the wildfire data. The Django/Daphne WebSocket backend was built by teammates.
Shows real-time data handling, dashboard design and complex UI state management on the frontend I owned.
Result: Delivered a live-updating dashboard the client used to visualise wildfire data across multiple chart types.
